2025 Mini Sessions

Mini Sessions are just that -mini. They are offered annually throughout the year, and specifically for Christmas. These sessions are much shorter than a standard photo session, 15 minutes long and include 5-10 digital images. They also take place at a preset location and are offered on specific dates and times. Mini sessions are typically meant for immediate family or children. Larger groups might require two time slots to be booked for a mini session or if you have kiddos who take time to warm could require a standard photo session rather than a mini session. These sessions aren't designed to squeeze in everything you can out of the 15 minutes, outfit changes can typically not be accommodated, and the sets are designed by the photographer for specific poses to take place. I tend to go for a full, wide shot while providing close up and vertical shots too.

Below is a general list of photo poses that I follow for mini sessions:

*Kids Individually (adult individuals by request at booking)

*Parents Together

*Parents with each kid, set of kids

Mini Sessions are supposed to be quick and simple. Once the shot expectations listed above have been met for the session, you're all finished! Shortly after your session I will post a sneak peek on my Facebook Page. Once I get finished editing your images, you will receive your images digitally for downloading. My typical turn around time for mini session editing to be completed is about a week, but this can depend on the season and how busy I am with sessions and family commitments. I will tell you what the official turn around time looks like at the time of your session.

Planning things in advance is always nice to do. So, I thought that it might be nice to know some of the Mini Sessions that I have planned for the upcoming year. Unplanned, pop-up minis could take place like at any time, but I will post official information when mini sessions are open for scheduling on my Facebook Page. Personality Minis

This mini session is great for babies who can sit up on their own - 18 years old! Let your children show off their personalities, with a fun session that they can simply be themselves. During this indoor simple session, minimal props will be used, since it is meant to capture the personality of the individual in front of the camera in a timeless look. Since I know black and white images aren't always preferred, I will include color as well as black and white images in your digital gallery album at no additional charge. The studio setup will be location near the Mason area.

Creek Mini Sessions

Take your shoes off and cool down this summer by doing a photo session at a local creek. This mini sessions would be great for families, kiddos, couples, and seniors. The official location(s) for these minis is TBD, but will be about 15-20 minutes of the Mason area.

Fall Mini Sessions

These mini sessions are very popular and during my busiest time of year, so time slots can fill up quick! The specific location will be announced closer to the session date and based on the best color in the area, but will be within 15/20mins of the Mason area. These will be simple outdoor sessions, at one spot within the location, mainly utilizing the fall colors. This session will be great for your immediate family, extended family, or just the kids. Families with more than 8 participants will require 2 spots back to back. Some standing poses will be done, but I will also have a blanket on hand for some sitting pictures, and some other props as well that could be used by younger kiddos. Keep an eye out for specific information about these!

Outdoor Holiday Mini Sessions

The plan for this mini session is simple. No specific theme, just nature, Pine Trees, and a blanket. The location is TBD, but will be within 15/20mins of the Mason area. This session will be perfect for holiday family photos of your immediate family, extended family, or just holiday pictures of just the kids (furbabies are welcome too, they will need to be on a leash). Families with more than 8 participants will require 2 spots back to back.

Classic Indoor Holiday Mini Session

My indoor holiday mini sessions are typically very popular. This session is intended for families of 5 or less, children only, as well as newborns and infants. If you are looking for an indoor, simple, and festive holiday photo session this year, this session would be perfect! This studio setup will take place near the Mason area. Final details will be announced on my Facebook page when booking goes live.

Indoor Holiday Cookie Session

The indoor holiday mini session option is very popular. This session is simple and meant to be fun! Families can have fun pretending to make holiday cookies together. Props include, marshmallows, chocolate chips, glasses of milk, flour (get as messy or stay as clean as you would like), baker hat, pretend eggs, mixing bowl w/ utensils, and chocolate chip and sugar cookies that everyone can eat as well! This setup is best suited for families of 5 or less and also for children who are able to sit up by themselves or stand on a stool behind the workspace. If you are looking for some fun indoor pictures this year, definitely consider this session! This setup will take place near the Mason area.
